Great food and cocktails. We ate in the lounge and the bartender Tommy is a great server and very friendly. The building could use some updates but it was clean and comfortable and the portions were very large.
The best chinese food in Vancouver with the best bartenders. Jen, Tommy, and Shannon really know how to take care of the customers. I haven't eaten anything that wasn't excellent! The lo mein, fried shrimp, bbq pork, and sizzling rice soup are my favorites so far. Thank you for a great time and atmosphere!
Everything we ordered was absolutely AMAZING!! We had the spicy chicken and broccoli, general tso, egg rolls, fried shrimp and crab puffs! I would easily give these guys a 10/10! Adding them to my favorite list when we pass through Vancouver, WA!!
Me and a friend came in for some dinner and even though they were dead the service was super speedy. Our hostess made all the food look super good as she place everything so perfectly! As good as it look every dish tasted hot fresh and delicious! Thank you for giving us a good time to remember.
Best value and quality of Chinese food I know of within the Portland metro area. The lunch special Chicken with Mixed Vegetables contains well over 3 lbs of very tasty food. Easily 2 meals for one adult. Price is reasonable - 11.75 for everything. With the Entree comes moist pork fried rice, silky lo-mein noodles, 2 crab cheese puffs, a choice between 2 soups, 2 fortune cookies, and any extra condiments you want. Quick and friendly service and usually more than 10 minutes of wait time.
I love their house Lo Mein with thin noodles. A very nice balanced flavorful dish. I live in Washougal and come here about once every 10 days or so because China Cook’s is the best I have come across in the Vancouver WA Zmetro area. The staff is very nice too, but the older Chinese cafe atmosphere is dark and kind of lacking so I always get it to go. It is worth the drive. There is a newer place that I really liked initially too in Fisher’s Landing, but they changed cooks right after I gave them a good review and the Fisher’s Landing place is kind of ho- hum now. So, I am now back to driving across town for China Cook’s Lo-Mein because it is much better and worth the drive. Also, though the dish is just under 20, it is always ample enough for two meals. There is ample parking and an ADA accessible ramp on the south side of the cafe.
I'm a Chinese food snob and this was the best Chinese food I've ever had. Do not judge the restaurant by its old out dated exterior. This place is awesome. Also great atmosphere and great service. This will be my new favorite hangout..
So not only is the Chinese food absolutely stellar and I'm talking almost every dish they make is just mind-blowing but their bar scene and their bartender Tommy is the best in Clark county. You cannot go wrong and what a great atmosphere.
